Cruise News Update! In today’s show we look at several breaking cruise news stories. First we talk about the cruise industry’s restart and how it is full steam ahead in September.

This month we are expecting 205 ships to be back in service, which represents 50 percent of the global cruise fleet. Unfortunately due to the damage in New Orleans due to Hurricane Ida, Carnival Cruise Line has canceled the September 5th sailing of the Carnival Glory.

Two cases of legionnaires disease have been confirmed for two passengers that sailed onboard Carnival Horizon during July and August of this year. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has updated its travel policy and will require all guests 12 years and older to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
