Disney Cruise Line has confirmed a new slate of fall 2027 and spring 2028 sailings that includes Galveston as a homeport, with Disney Magic returning to Texas for Bahamas, Western Caribbean and Panama Canal itineraries. Disney’s official itinerary release says Galveston sailings will include cruises of three to seven nights to destinations that can include Nassau, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Select 14-night Panama Canal cruises will also feature inaugural Disney calls at Fuerte Amador and Colón in Panama.
Early booking opens in phases for Castaway Club members beginning Aug. 31, 2026, with general booking opening Sept. 8. The Galveston deployment follows Disney’s broader 2027–28 expansion from New York, Vancouver, San Diego, San Juan, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral and Singapore.
