Low Water Disruptions Prompt River Cruise Rebooking Extension

Cruise Industry News has reported that persistent low water on the Rhine, Moselle, and Danube is continuing to affect river cruise operations in Central Europe, with Phoenix Reisen extending a flexible rebooking offer through September 9, 2026, for affected sailings. The company says not every river or section is equally impacted, but some departures may require itinerary changes or ship swaps as conditions evolve.

Phoenix is asking guests not to contact the company preemptively, saying it is reviewing upcoming cruises continuously and will reach out directly when a voyage is affected. The Netherlands and Belgium itineraries aboard Rhein Prinzessin are excluded from the current rebooking offer.
