Okay, I've booked our 10 cruise with carnival. Does anyone know what that entitles us to?
I've heard somethings like VIP embarkation with no waiting in lines, a free picture, in cabin appetizers, etc.
Anyone know where I can find info on this?

When your documents arrive, there will be those famous words on the front..."please proceed to VIP Check In"!! (yea)

Love the free wash and fold. We used it at least once on every cruise.
We don't gamble but we always do the free slots tournament. (even I can push a button) It is a lot of fun..although we have never won. (guess that is why we don't gamble!)

You also have a "special line" at the Purser's desk (a Platinum sign) ...so you don't have to wait behind everyone else.

Enjoy your cruise!

Thanks for the info, now you've got me more excited. Like going on another cruise wasn't good enough...now I've got incentives to look forward to.

On our last cruise we were offered a 20% discount on the Spa. I'm not sure if that happens on every cruise or just on that particular one (Inspiration). I don't use the spa so it's not something I pay particular attention to. Since it was a five day cruise we only had the canapes delivered to our room. The petit fours are delivered on the second formal night of the 7 day cruise.

Don't think you won't stand in line though. We've had to...BUT...the line has always been shorter. On the cruise out of Tampa..once we reached the main building we were ushered up an escalator (while everyone else took the stairs) and into a special area where we could sit down. I can't say we got checked in quicker than the others - but we were more comfortable. And had there not been some problem with one of the three weddings going on - on board ship - we would have been ushered directly onboard. As it was we waited in a special area until the ok was given. We did board before everyone else who had already checked in.

On this particular debarkation - they had a special area for our luggage when we disembarked. That wasn't the case on the previous cruise as our luggage was in with all those with early flights, etc. and was much harder to locate.

So we are learning that each ship/port does things a little bit differently for those of us who are Platinum Consierge Club members.
Since the "club" is somewhat new...the ships may still be working out the kinks.
