Hi there,
My name is Katie and my boyfriend Tom and I are setting sail March 8 on the Enchantment of the Seas. Its a 5 night cruise and we are curious as to how much spending money we will be needing. We do drink, but not to the point where we are puking that night and shielding ourselves from the bright sun the next day. We will probably enjoy a total of 15 drinks the whole duration of the trip. Our ports are Ocho Rios and Georgetown, Grand Cayman. We book our Dunn's Rivers Fall excursion with an outside source (Peat Taylor) and we are planning on booking the Seven Mile Beach transportation lunch and drink excursion which is 50/per person. Would you recommend that we just take a taxi to Seven Mile Beach instead of paying for the excursion? Tom just wants to know that he will have a beach chair with his name on it. As for spending, we aren't looking to buy big ticket items, just small souvenirs like t-shirts, key chains, shot glasses and maybe a few bottles of rum and possibly a picture on board. We are planning on purchasing one soda pass for the cruise. Other then that, we really aren't sure what to expect and how much money to bring. We want to bring enough so we do not have to be worried about whether we can or cannot do something.
Any tips?
