This will be my first time cruising. We are going to the Liberty and our destinations include Half Moon Cay, USVI, San Juan, and Grand Turk.
We want to do a zip line tour in San Juan which we have planned, but have nothing else planned for the other places.
Where is the best spot for snorkeling? How much does it usually cost?
Any excursions you may recommend?
Thanks! and very excited to cruise!!!

I was on Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay in December. If your a beach person you will love them both. 5 of my friends and I got one of the cabana's on HMC and it was well worth the $200 cost. We split the cost 5 ways. The cost of the cabana included, Snacks, water and pop for 4, snorkel equipment for 4, floats for 4. There is AC and a shower and ceiling fan.

Above are pictures from Half Moon Cay. The last is the view from the cabana.

In St Thomas you must go to Paradise Point in the evening. It's a beautiful place to watch the sun set with the ships at the pier below. You will love it.

At Grand Turk, we spent the day at Margarittaville. The pool there was awesome. We intended to hit the beach but never made it past the pool. Some of our group did go snorkling but it was on the other side of the island.

Your very welcome Don B I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was a very relaxing cruise, and the port were just great. I love sharing with everyone on the board. As you can see it was pretty much a beach/pool sort of cruise. I didn't post any of the San Juan pictures as there we just spent an hour or so at one of the forts then had lunch at a local resturant then back to ths ship. :)

I went to Grand Turk several years ago(1989), before the cruise lines started going, and I can highly recommend Governor's Beach. Very beautiful. I once did a catamaran snorkeling tour from St. Thomas that was fantastic. In San Juan, I've walked Old San Juan, and enjoyed seeing the old forts (San Cristobal & San Felipe del Morro). Have yet to go to HMC...
