Merry Christmas everyone,

It's been a few years since I sailed with RCL, so my questions are:

1. How much is the service charge for Johnny Rockets ?

2. On a 5 night cruise what is the dress code for dinner? I am thinking one formal ,2 buisness casual and 2 casual nights-is this correct?

Thanks!
Sailing RCCL again on Jan.19th,2008 -Navigator! Wahoo!

Johnny Rockets is $3.75..unless of course, you're a C and A member(which sounds like you are),then you'll get a free coupon in your cabin.....if its not there,go ask at the pursers desk......

One formal night.......the rest are all basically the same....which i would say "nice casual"

PH8,

Thanks for the Johhny Rockets tip, I am a CA member so I will definitly make sure I get that coupon. DH and I love Johnny Rockets and when we sailed the Mariner on her maiden W. Caribbean voyage Johnny Rockets was free. We ate at JR everyday for lunch! So I am glad to see the service charge is less than $4.Looks like we'll still be eating at Johnny Rockets everyday for lunch! LOL!

PS
Thanks also for the attire info too.

Merry Christmas and Happy Everything!

Just a heads up, but unless I'm mistaken the coupon for C&A is only good for 1 visit.. so you'll still have to pay the service charge for the other visits..course if you are both C&A members that will be 2 coupons...

Re: J. Rockets:

I called RCI and asked about the charge at J. Rockets, and they told me that the charge was for the workers gratuities, not for the food. So to me that makes the charge a little easiser to take. :)P)

What really happened is that since J.R.'s is right next to the Kids' area on the Voyager Class ships, the place was always crowded with kids who ordered lots of food but didn't eat it. Being crowded with kids also kept a lot of grown ups away. When the charge was originally implemented it was the conventional wisdom that they did it to eliminate the kids. If they're splitting up the charge between the wait staff, all the better.
