The last ship that made the schedule anyways, sailed on the 28th SEPT. The first stat out is that the numbers of pax are down 19 %. It's the first drop ever I believe. The cause??? Seattle and San Francisco. Mainly Seattle of course and that trend will continue as more ships use that port to start. The new ships are that much faster so the time getting into Seattle is not the factor that it once was. Overall they say that BC will maintain it's pax numbers but Vancouver will be sharing with Victoria..now Prince Rupert and they say other spots are gearing up for new stops along our coast. Interesting as things change..eh?

That's too bad, I always enjoyed Vancouver. I thought it was a beautiful city and really enjoyed the parks and other sights. I just hope HAL doesn't start running everything out of Seattle.

I couldn't agree more. I often wish we could stop in such a port elsewhere..Right downtown easy access to city, parks, beaches, and all those other things that make a great cruise stop. Probably second to none is Canada Place and the city. Warmer and dryer would be better but that's another story......
