3 in a room?

My two adult daughters and myself are going on the Girls Get Away cruise in November on the Celebration. We get a discount on the third person in the room. My concern is if the rooms they book 3 people into are adequate for three people. Anyone out there ever stayed 3 in a room?

Three women and one bathroom? The rooms are 185 sq ft. How much time are you planning to spend in the room? If only for sleeping and changing clothes, you will be fine.

My very first cruise on Carnival was in a cabin for four. I went with my daughter, grandaughter and her friend (yeah, me and three women); we had absolutely no problem. I'm an early riser, and the rest usualy slept in, so it worked out great. Three in a cabin should be absolutely no problem.

Just posted on another thread, we had 4 on the pride last Feb and it went fine. And it was 4 women. Shower in the spa, much better shower, no curtain to attack you!!! We actually had fun even with us 50 year old ladies getting up all night to potty!!! Lots of room for belongings too. We are on the Elation in Sept, family reunion and have booked 3 quads. We just don't plan on spending much time in cabins.

booking 3 people in a cabin on the Celebration--pick a cabin or you could get a cabin that holds 3 people and will give you a rollaway bed.

I'm not sure what you mean by "pick a cabin". Are there different types of cabins that they would book 3 people in? Do you have a suggestion as to what cabin to pick?
Thanks

It sounds like you book a guarantee. you booked a category only. Booking three people on a guarantee you could get a roll away- if you dont mind the rollaway in your cabin then a guarantee is the way for you to go.

Personally I feel that roll away takes up too much space. what category you book?

We haven't booked yet - We're on a tight budget so I'll be looking for the cheapest room that will accomodate us. What is the option other than a roll-away.
Do I understand from your message that you don't necessarily get a specific room when you book? You may have guessed we're novices at this cruise stuff. I appreciate all the information I'm getting.

You can book a specific cabin, or you can book a guarantee. If you book a specific cabin, that is the cabin you will get (99.9% of the time). If you book a guarantee, you save a little money, you have no control over what cabin you will get, but you could end up in a better cabin than you are paying for (the upgrade would be free). I believe that if you book a guarantee with three people, you will get a cabin that is set up to sleep three.

In general the least expensive cabin is an inside cabin. Then an oceanview cabin. Then a balcony cabin and finally a suite. The lower (physically) you are in the ship, the less expensive the cabin is. So, an inside cabin on the top deck might cost more than an oceanview cabin on the bottom deck. An oceanview cabin on the top deck might cost more than the lowest balcony (balconies are never close to sea level).

You WILL get a cabin that sleeps three people but since the Celebration is one of the ships that have roll aways you stand a chance of getting a cabin that sleeps one person on the roll away.
Inside cabins are the cheapest.. They are the same size as an oceanview cabin- a window is the only differnce.
We sailed with 5 of us in an inside cabin and we were barely in the cabin except to sleep and dress.

Like Cruizer said- booking a guarantee you have no control over where your cabin will be. For first time cruisers who have nothing to compare it to its ok- but you stand the chance of being very far forward. very far in the back. under the galley.
but on the pro side you stand a chance of getting a free upgrade. It depends on what you want. Go in with knowing what can happen- hope for the best- that way there are no disappointments

Our cruise on the Celebration is a "Girls Get Away" sponsored by Premier Christian Cruises. From the registration form it looks like we actually book a specific room. What's better as far as smooth sailing? front, middle, back, lower deck or higher up deck.

The cabins with the least movement are low and in the middle of the ship.

the back and front will feel the motion compared to other places.. the higher you go the more motion will be felt.
If you take a pencil and put it on your finger and moved it up and down. the point and the eraser will be moving.
But if you hit rough seas you will feel the motion all over.
