We have sailed 4 to a room for years.You cabin will either have 2 pulldowns (Called Uppers) or 1 Upper and 1 cot they bring in. The larger ships have one upper that pulls down over the couch. The couch makes into the 4th bed.If you look at the deck plans on the Carnival website...they will show you which rooms have 2 Uppers.The only cabins that I feel are to small for 4 people are the Interior on the Spirit Class. We did 3 people in an Interior on Main on the Miracle and it was to small for my taste. It was the first time we felt cramped.
