Hi Louise1928

We are going on the Summit in Nov. - this will be a family cruise. Our ages range from 32 to 70.  We'd tried all the major lines except Celebrity - this will be our 1st. Not one of us shied away from the Summit, because there isn't enough to do! The 10 & 11 nite cruises seem perfect,  the right amount of both activities and down time. You will be surprised, some of the activities that sound "blah", are actually alot of fun. Take the art auction, for example - we had a blast last year at the art auction on the Coral. Got two great pictures - they were framed and delivered right to your front door! (I just wish buying livingroom furniture was that easy!)  Just remember, on a cruise you make your own fun! You will have as much or as little fun as you let yourself have! Doesn't sound like you ladies will have any problem what so ever, the activities are out there for you!

If you are still hesitant, check out the Princess itineraries - Every one says that Princess is for "older cruisers"- I have not found that two be true at all! I'm 38 and LOVE Princess. This is just my opinion, but RCCL seems to be more family oriented and,  I have found the food to be not as good as on some of the other lines. Hope you have a blast!

P.S. Lbcruiser - Thanks for all the great Summit info! Now you got me all excited! How am I going to get thru the next 195 days! Yes, I check the "Cruise Tracker" all the time!!!
