Am in the same "boat" at you. Sailed only on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Will be doing the April 3 inagural sailing on the Caribbean Princess so get back to me after that date and I will tell you exactly what to expect.

My wife and I just booked this date. We sailed Princess once before---the old Pacific Princess---the love boat. It was a small ship and the service was excellent. I hope that service of excellence is not lost on a big ship. We prefer small ships, but tey are a dying breed. Anyone who I know that has been on Princess says the service is excellent. I have sailed Celebrity--believe they are equal to Princess and RCCL is a bit below. Just my opinion from 3 sailings on RCCL and 1 one Celebrity, alog with the one on Princess and 2 on NCL.

you will not go wrong with princess==we have sailed 18 times on princess and have never had a problem==always great service==the ships are now very large==but you do not feel crowded==our favorite is the Royal Princess which is smaller--45,000 tons==have a good trip / the william

There are 6 in my group. Myself, wife, daughter (3), my wifes sister and parents. We are actually staying on for 2 weeks. East (5/22) then West (5/29) on this boat. Back to Back

We have sailed many, many times with Princess. About 2 dozen combined cruises. We only had 1 bad experience and it was with the waitors on 1 cruise. You now have personal choice dining so if you get bad waitors you can just move the next night

Would anyone be interested in a fishing trip in St Thomas or St Martin ?

Who - Myself and my father in law and if anyone else from Caribbean Princess or another ship or another tourist would like to come then please let me know.

What - Deep Sea Fishing

Where - St. Thomas or St MArtin

When - 5/25 in St Thomas or 5/26 in St Martin

Why - We like to fish !

I have 3 questions -

# 1. Is there anyone here who will be on St Thomas on 5/25/04 or St Martin on 5/26/04 and would like to go Deep Sea Fishing with us ? The total cost would be at least $400 + tip and we would like to split it 3-5 ways instead of 2 ways. We are only interested in going on a fishing boat that allows each person to have their own pole. My father in law went on a Princess Excursion for fishing in the Caymans once and it was 5 guys and 1 pole and he had a bad experience. We want to go with a non-Princess fishing charter

# 2. Has anyone here fished in St Thomas or St Martin before and can you reccomend someone ?

# 3. We would like to go on a 3/4 day trip. Would we be better off securing a trip before the cruise or can you get off the boat and negotiate a price and a charter the morning we get there ?

Any help is appreciated. Please post comments here or email me directly at CA_sporticus@netzero.com

I'll be on the 5-22 Caribbean Princess with my wife and my in-laws. I've been on 6 cruises, however, 4 with Princess and have nothing bad to say about Princess - we always have a great experience. Although - we did cruise Once on the Grand Princesson through hurricane michelle .
I am definitely interested in doing a fishing trip - it would be my father in-law and myself. I don't have any information about fishing trips - I have never done this excursion before but am very interested in doing it on St. Maarten on 5/26.

I'll see if I find anything, but if you do find some information - you can e-mail me directly - my name is Rick. nyg8690@optonline.net or my wife's e-mail as posted above.
