We were on the Zenith for the 8/24/02 sailing this was also our first cruise we had a great time the food and the ship were great also the weather. As far as the weather you should be fine as long as there are no storms which can happen at any time. We would actually prefered to go on a later date but we were traveling with our 14 year old son who needed to start school on 9/4/02.
