9/8/10 Conniecat Update

ShipMaven

Forever Remembered
Connie is a little bit better today than she was yesterday, but tomorrow will be the big test with dialysis.

Her close friend brought Simon (all 18 pounds of him!!!) to see Connie today, but they were refused because Connie is in isolation (not ICU, but isolation). :( How heartbreaking.

As I hear more, I'll share.

Your prayers are very much appreciated as always.

Thank you for the update. I stopped by to see how everything was before leaving for synagogue. I will certainly be praying for Connie and her family.

Simon is 18 pounds! Wow. To think how she nursed the once-emaciated stray into a beloved, healthy cat shows what a beautiful person she is. I am sad that she didn't get to see him today, yet I know he feels her love.

Thanks for the update. I can understand the hospital not allowing Simon to visit but am sad that it wasn't possible. She is sure a strong person to be on the up swing yet again.

I agree with everyone else. What a shame. But I do understand. (I'm a big fan of the power of animals helping people.)

It is so sad that Connie can't see Simon but with her in isolation that is understandable. However, if she could just see him for a few minutes it might give her that little extra boost she needs right now.

Many prayers from here. I too am sorry she couldn't see simon but sure understand the isolation due to the antibotics trying to fight the infections and being compromised due to dialysis she can't be exposed to anything right now. I am so glad she is better and many prayers from here that she can tolerate the dialysis as it is so hard on one. Thanks again MaryAnn for the update.

Thank you Mary Ann for the update.

Isolation - I can understand why she is there -- all the infections, etc., -- sad that she couldn't see Simon for even a second.

It's so sad that she couldn't see Simon, but I understand why, I just think it would help her so.
Prayers will continue.

What a bummer, couldnt she have seen him thru the glass or something? We are considering making Serena a therapy dog for the hospitals,I think Moon would try to crawl into the patients laps, all those legs and big head and 90 pounds might not be welcome, lol! Connie prayers and love continue!

That truly is sad to hear that she wasn't able to see Simon. I know it would have cheered her up if nothing else. I understand as well, but it is still would have been nice. Prayers continue. . . .
