A day to see Pisa and/or Florence from Spezia port

We dock in Spezia. It appears that neither Pisa nor Florence is close. Is there a way to see both enjoyably in 8 hours (ie. no crazy running from place to place!) or should we choose one.? Which one?

We docked at a different place to get to Pisa and Florence so I am not sure , not much to see in Pisa just a quick stop to see the leaning tower, totally loved Florence we had a tour that included skip the line got museum with David , I. Would definitely visit Florence if possible, we even had time for a stop at a vineyard for a wine tasting, If I can remember the tour company I will update this.
