Oh my of course she can go on and live a happy life!! But this is something she will have to decide to do! Set backs happen in all our lives, and yes they can be painful and change how we look at outr future, but the point is THERE STILL IS A FUTURE.
I hope your friend heals quickly and goes on, it may be still possible for her to concieve even with one tube. If not there are ofptions , may-be not what she had planned but as we age we learn tht life is what you make it , and to roll with the punches. And there are certainly some punches along the way.
My best friend whom I had known since we were 4 was murdered at 26, weeks after I just asked to be the maid of honour at my wedding.
I personally have had 3 miscarriages( now have 3 kids)including a doozey where i was hospitalized for days.
My friends son died suddenly in his sleep at age SIX ( undiagnosed brain flaw)
So you see into every life a little rain must fall. Your friend is very lucky in one way, she has a friend like you who cares about her and worrys about her, that is priceless!
Your friend will recover both phsyically and menatlly, just give her time and let her cry, but remember the sun always comes out after the rainstorm, and there is always other good things in our lives to focus on, loving husband , work we enjoy, close friends and family. It will take a while, give it time, and keep being a great friend.
