A much better day for Oscar today!!

All of you guys are so very thoughtful to post such great supportive wishes. Thank you so very much.

Things went much better today. He is not having to take as much morphine as Mon and Tue. Repositioning is still very painful, but subsides quickly.

I went to see a new rehab facility today. Very Nice :doubleup:. It is across the street from Harris SW and 1/2 block south. Global rehab, Most of the staff came from his old rehab standby, Health South, so he will know a lot of them. And, the rooms are all private.

He has set up in bed several times today to watch TV. He is an avid TV watcher, so this lets us know he is definately feeling better .

Well, it is time for me to get ready for bed, so I'll visit again tomorrow.

Once again, Thank you all for the wonderful support, prayers and good wishes. It is a big comfort to both of us.

I am so glad to hear that Oscar is more comfortable now. And that he will be going into familiar surroundings. That will help a lot in his recovery. Which in turn will help you deal with everything that will be required of you. Prayers continue for both of you.

The little things sure count, don't they? So happy to hear that he is making strides in little steps, they are very important. The rehab sounds great, and I am sure he, and you, are looking forward to moving out of hospital and to rehab and then home.

It is good to hear a positive report! Oscar...you just keep on getting better...slow is fine...just keep moving forward. The rehab place does sound very nice....private rooms sound great!!

Ann, you be sure to take good care of you...this is more important than you ever know and it's hard to do too! While we care for those we love we sometimes lose sight of that fact! Eat properly and get plenty of rest. Be sure to give yourself some time to yourself. You need to recharge!!
