Hey welcome, this is a good place to go when you got questions. My next cruise is in 4 days to Alaska, on the Brilliance ots, an am gettin ansy.
We did Brilliance to Europe about 7 years ago, have done about 80 cruises but never Alaska, hopefully will do that sooner or later , please post afterwards on your cruise.

welcome to the board. You will find plenty of friendly people here, and they are eager to share thier knowledge with you.

For all of you going to Alaska.. if you are going on the trip to see Denali.. first make sure how for the bus is going.

the full trip is about 90 miles, and it will pass by Denali, giving yiu great views as long as the cllouds cooperate ‍.
but a few years ago, the bridge collapsed. And they are having trouble rebuilding it, Due to permafrost etc.
so for the past few years that we have gone there, the trip only goes out about 40 miles in. This means that you can not see Denali.

a great way to see everything is to take a helicopter tour.

we also love Alaska, and go there frequently.
our next trip there is our usual and most favorite way.. we cruise up, get off the ship and do our own tour. We book lodges in multiple places and stay a couple of weeks. Then we board another ship for the return jurney.

but whatever way you do it, Alaska is great.
