MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:
MSC Orchestra will surpass all expectations in offering the best gastronomic experiences to its guests as a result of the many dishes and the eclectic quality of its food on board. From the choicest meat produced by Italian farms to the fresh fruit, all our suppliers are carefully chosen. The bread, too, is baked daily with the expertise and passion of a true bakery.
From the pizza and Focaccia di Recco to dim sum and the Chocolate supreme from the onboard Chocolate Bar, the offerings aboard ship span from Mediterranean dishes to those of the Orient. All you have to do is immerse yourself in the rich and appetising ambience: 187 daily dish choices from breakfast to lunch, from tea-time to dinner while the evenings continue with a stream of aromas, tastes and colours!
A thousand and one recipes
We serve an infinite variety of foods to tickle all the senses: regional recipes, ethnic dishes, daily specials for 14 weekly menus and 280 diverse dishes in the main restaurants - Villa Borghese and l'Ibiscus. If you yearn for a ‘light' choice there are calorie-controlled options on the menus thanks to the chef. Additionally there is an ‘always available' selection to satisfy those who simply can't resist. Those with dietary requirements can alert the staff when they book to ensure we cater properly for their needs.
À LA CARTE AND BUFFET RESTAURANT
The new flagship MSC Orchestra, just like its sister ship MSC Musica, has an exclusive à la carte dining room - the Four Seasons Restaurant, decorated with elegant marble and rounded off with refined porcelain, crystal glasses and silver tableware.
For those, like Oscar Wilde, who can't resist temptation, the midnight feasts will pull you from every corner of the ship: the guest star on board the cruise is the ‘Buffet Magnifico' this takes place on the final night of the cruise and offers a hundred dishes including crudités, nibbles and desserts - all sculptured and decorated.
SHANGHAI CHINESE RESTAURANT
If you love oriental food and don't wish to miss out on the pleasure of a Chinese meal during your cruise, the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant is the ideal place for you. Typical Chinese cuisine can be enjoyed with a 360° panoramic view. The menu starts with dim sum, a carousel of oriental starters from various regions in China, then moves on to the soups followed by a choice of four diverse menus: from Beijing in the north, to the sweeter Cantonese dishes, on to typical Shanghai and spicy Szechuan fare. Four different types of rice will also be offered plus a vegetarian menu and dessert selection, from fried ice cream to rice pudding or a banana spring roll, all washed down with a cool Tsingtao, the beer with ‘almond eyes', or an aromatic tea, followed by a liqueur.
FEEL YOUR BEST...ENJOY EATING!
There is no better way to really relax than to indulge in a Balinese body massage followed by a pilates class rounded off with a detox and refreshing herbal tea or a natural fruit smoothie. Thanks to the Spa Bar, located directly inside the MSC Aurea Spa, nothing is simpler! If you prefer to taste a freshly-squeezed vegetable juice as you tan to the sound of salsa and merengue rhythms, the Vitamin Bar is located by the pool so that you don't miss out on a single ray of sunshine!
RESISTING IS IMPOSSIBLE
A place that will have you coming back over and over is the Willy Wonka Factory: a world of chocolate! No, it isn't a mirage: at the Chocolate Bar there is a chocolate fountain! Here the chocolate is ‘on tap' and this is just the beginning of the end as the sweet odour of cocoa will break down all your resistance. Chocolate bars, dry biscuits, fruit slices for dipping or wafers with ice cream and pears smothered in warm chocolate... And then there are those small glasses of ‘liquid' milk or white chocolate for an ad hoc elixir. Once you taste the chocolate liqueur, heavenly delight awaits!
If taste is one of life's aspects to be indulged in, a cruise on board MSC Orchestra is just the holiday for you: a triumph of tastes as only MSC Cruises knows how!
