Has anyone used AAA as a travel agent for booking an Alaska cruise? Has your experience been that they are helpful? knowledgeable? I know that every travel agent will be different especially within an organization as large as AAA. But, I'd like to know of the experience that other travelers have had in utilizing their services.

BTW, I'm planning on a first cruise to AK, and I've been reading a lot on the internet and guidebooks to get a feel for the iteneraries and excursions, I still thing that a TA would be our best bet for helping us with all of the logistics

Thanks!

Hi Mike, We are going to Alaska in May on the Coral Princess. We booked our cruise with AAA in Va Beach, Va.This is the 3rd cruise we have booked through them. Never had a problem using them. They have always answered any questions we might have. Hope this helps!

Hi Mike - We are booked on a 12 day Alaska trip, round trip out of S.F. on Celebrity Infinity. Normally don't use AAA but found out that they had a large block of cabins with an excellent price, better than they normally have. I don't know about the one-way's from Vancover but if you can get a cruise where AAA has a block of cabins I think their prices will be very competitive. They are as knowledgeable as anyother TA. I have heard that they are one of the big guys on the block. Hope this helps.
