HiI went in Sept with my family and we bypassed the guide that they tried to give us and went up the falls by ourselves. It was much faster and nicer as you didn't have to hold hands and wait for 30 other people to pick their way up the falls.... The guide did find us at the top and tried to get us to tip him but we told him right out that we did not go with the group and we had walked on our own.... it was our second time there but i don't think you would have a problem even if this is your first time..Enjoy!!!
