We signed up to go on the catamaran sail, snorkel, and beach party in Cozumel and the Reef and stingray city tour in Grand Cayman. My question is ~ Is there a safe place to put purses and cameras and such? I was wanting to bring my camera for the beach and sailing part, but not sure about leaving it while snorkeling or losing it.
Any info on what you may have brought with you and such would be helpful. Thanks!

All you can do is leave them on the boat. On all the cruises I have been on, I have never had a problem with leaving my stuff on the boat, everyone does and I have some trust in my fellow cruisers.

I would only take what I need for the day, stuff it in a beach bag ,and leave everything else in your cabin, for me that would be, my sea pass, 20 bucks, (in case I want to buy a trinket). Sun Block, a t-shirt, and a towel from the boat.

I would suggest going to a wal-mart and buying a couple of throw-away underwater cameras, you will want them snorkeling and with the stingrays. Even on the beach, you don't have to worry about sand getting into them.
