All you can do is leave them on the boat. On all the cruises I have been on, I have never had a problem with leaving my stuff on the boat, everyone does and I have some trust in my fellow cruisers.I would only take what I need for the day, stuff it in a beach bag ,and leave everything else in your cabin, for me that would be, my sea pass, 20 bucks, (in case I want to buy a trinket). Sun Block, a t-shirt, and a towel from the boat.I would suggest going to a wal-mart and buying a couple of throw-away underwater cameras, you will want them snorkeling and with the stingrays. Even on the beach, you don't have to worry about sand getting into them.Chuck
