I can only comment on my one experience in the Nouveau Supper club aboard the Spirit this past November. We found the food to be somewhat better than in the dining room, but it was debatable if it was worth the surcharge. Our judgment on this was affected by the atmosphere in the Club. We were expecting an elegant quiet dining experience which it started out to be. About midway through our dinner a party of six was seated near our table. They were fairly loud and we really weren't interested in hearing, clearly, a lot of the details of their lives. I feel we would have enjoyed the whole evening much more without this exhibition. It didn't spoil things for us, but it sure took the polish off. I must point out that the service was very good, without being in the way. The menu selection was very thorough, the food was high quality and well prepared.
