Hi...
I'm about to go on this cruise at the end of January and am checking out the excursions. I've only been on three cruises previously and mostly avoided the excursions due to a tight budget. Any that anyone suggests/recommends to do OR NOT do?
Thanks in advance!

We are going to Aruba, Curacao, St. Martin and St.Thomas. In Aruba we are looking at a 4 hour snorkel excursion. I think we are pretty set on that. No idea what to do in Curacao--i honestly just want to relax, swim, snorkel, etc. St. Marten seems to offer a bunch of excursions to Oriental Bay--is that the only or best thing to do? We've been to St. Thomas a number of times and we have in the past (not on cruises) taken the ferry over to St. John...I would like to go to St. John, but my mom thinks the only way to do it is with a ship excursion--i'm wondering if we might be better off doing it on our own (price-wise and crowd-wise)...any thoughts?

St. Martin, you can grab a taxi to any of the beaches. Readily available at the pier and on the way back. Not sure if you are aware or if it even matters but Orient is a clothes optional beach.

You can also take the water taxi 5.00 round trip, right at the pier into downtown. Shopping, restaurants, also a beach there too. Front Street

You can take the ferry on your own to St. John. Everything is based on where you dock and timing. Price should be cheaper doing it on your own.
