We are doing the transatlantic on Dec 1, 2012, and trying to determine which cabin. We will be in Aqua class. I heard that we should try for the middle of the ship so that it is more stable.
I have read about the "Hump" which I am assuming is the part that sticks out in the middle where the suites are. Are any of these nearby centrally located cabins advisable. I noticed the first Aqua cabin next to the suites somewhat blocks the view from front to back of the ship if I am seeing this correctly.
Are any of these balconies bigger on the hump? We spend alot of time on our balcony reading.
Is the entrance to the elevator a concern for noise? I assume the elevator doors and the subsequent "ding" are on the inside of where the elevators are marked and not facing the rooms. Is that a safe assumption?
Also someone said to be on the Port side of the ship because on the crossing it is sunnier, which makes sense.
Any advice at all would be appreciated. I am booking Monday so need to choose. Thanks
