Info from CathP is bang on ..you hear nothing from the elevators. Your assumption on blocked view is correct is correct also.
POSH. stands for port out starboard home. For the thinking regarding being on the sunny side of those pax goinging from Europe to North America and back so once again you are right.

I couldn't get into any of the hump rooms to see about size but I have heard some are bigger for sure. There are pics around somewhere online too if you search for them I think.
