I've done allot of traveling lately, and flights are definitely the least favorite portion of the journey. However, It may also help you in someway.Not flying MAY actually add to some future issues in my mind. I think the solution is to keep with small, intimate ships like Viking Ocean, Viking River, and even their expedition ships that sail from Barbados, NY, and seasonally on the Great Lakes.You may find yourself being the only ship in a smaller port, getting on your small ship. It makes things MUCH simpler in my opinion. If you haven't done a Viking river cruise. You may love it. Only 160 passengers and it's a very nice experience.Because you're right, the large ports can be a circus at times.
