Aft Balcony Cabin on The Conquest?

Anyone ever have an aft balcony cabin on the Upper Deck of the Conquest? Just wondering if there is alot of noise from the decks below and how the rooms were for size. What about ship motion? Thanks for any info in advance Nan

We had a stern cabin on the Conquest on the Empress deck. All the cabins are the same size, which is comfortable for two. We didn't have any noise problems after our neighbors closed their door during their sail away festivities. On the upper deck I wouldn't be surprised if there was some noise in the cabins above the Degas Lounge when the band is performing. Nice band by the way. We only noticed sea motion the night we left Cozumel. Apparently there is a coming together of currents there and it is not uncommon to have some seas. I will say it didn't seem any more pronounced in our cabin than it did anywhere else.

Thanks so much...I kind of guessed that there would be some noise from the lounge below. Are the cabins smaller than a standard Cat 8a? We have hubby and myself and a 12 year old and 7 year old. We were in a cat D balcony on the Grandeur of the Seas and had ample cabin space. Are they similar? Many thanks for your reply! Nan

We are going on the conquest in January and have a baldony cabin. I didn't think anything about noise. Hopefully it wont be too bad.
