I hope this isn't too late to answer. I've been in an aft cabin a couple of times and found it great. The rocking didn't bother me at all as opposed to a side cabin, maybe because the bed is placed in a different direction. I loved the larger deck and wake view. The area was quieter.Now, the negatives - you may or may not get some soot; cups or garbage from a deck above (especially a pool area); if a ship ties up behind you, your privacy is compromised; it's a loooong way to the center of the ship. If I'm ever given (they were all free upgrades) an upgrade I would always take it.
