Lookinf for any info on aft cabins on Explorer of the Seas. I have a choice to make on 8690 or 8692. Looking for any suggestions on these or any aft cabins on this ship

I am sure either would be fine but in looking at the deck plan it looks like 8690 has a larger balcomy.

Yup,8690 does have a bigger balcony..However,instead of having a sliding door,it has a single door

[size=large]Be prepared for a "hike" when you take the aft cabins. The closest elevators (and available stairways) are towards the midship area which is almost the length of the Promenade away. May not be enough of a negative, but some don't realize the distance involved. That being said, I've still booked one on the Mariner next April! [/size]

We try to get aft cabins but last week we had our first HUMP cabin...................great location,but we sure did miss the wake....................afts for us,from now on.............
