Would like feedback on aft cabins. We got a cabin on Upper deck beside cabin that has wrap around balcony.

Thank's for the pictures. We usually get a side balcony. But thought we would try an aft cabin.

You'll love on the back - We had the balcony that wraps around and that will be mine on every cruise from now on. It was wonderful -

The only problem was that the pool deck was up above and if anything is thrown overboard it will land on your balcony. We went on spring break and so there was lots of partying going on. One night I heard several loud crashes and someone up above was tossing dishes over the side and they were crashing onto our balconies because they jut out further than the ones above.

Also we felt "rain" one night but it was not "rain" -it was spit from above. We had to call security.

But DO NOT let these things discourage you from that cabin and especially ones that wrap around - they were wonderful!!!!!!!!!

A BIG 10-4 on a back cabin with veranda. I've only had a corner wrap-a-round and quickly became spoiled.. It's great for parties as well as just enjoying the views ~~!!~~ Unless you can afford the suite life, this is the next best thing........

Oh! Chris,

I'm so jealous it's just the neatest cabin. The wrap around is sooooo nice!

We took our grown kids with us and they had inside cabins. So we knew they would be in and out a lot. Since we drove to Galveston - we took a sort of large box and put in 4 extra lawn chairs. We just sent them thru like luggage - that way we could all sit out on the balcony - we still had lots of room.

We also always take bungee cord to tie open the door - so nice to go to sleep by the sounds of the waves. We could lie in bed at night and watch the stars because of the way the bed is situated. This cabin has a large window at the head of the bed (looking out the back of the ship) and one on the side that looks out over the side of the ship.

Measurement-wise the cabin shows to be slightly smaller - but with all the windows and a huge balcony - it certainly does not seem smaller. The only difference I noted was it doesn't have that little couch the others have.

Have fun!

I've booked #7453 on the Conquest June 21, 2009. It is one of the rooms in the middle on Empress deck. Has anyone had one of the middle aft cabins? I read a post someplace that said the two middle cabins are smaller than the others, but that Carnival claims they are the same size. Anyone know about this or have experienced one of the middle rooms? Man! After seeing that wrap around pic, I'm wishing I'd booked that one. Thanks for sharing!!!
