Ditto on the long lines on arrival/departure at Vancouver. It seemed the evening we arrived in Vancouver, there were only three Canadian immigration booths open and at leat five planes arrived within ten minutes of each other. We were in line for at least 45 minutes for a 3-minute cursory check of our passports. On departure, the line going through US immigration service was just as long. We left at 7:30 am and by the time we got to the counter, the lines behind us were huge. Plan accordingly.
