I'd stick with the aft cabin. When approaching teh glaciers you can head to the forward deck for a while but with an aft balcony you can spend time a lot more outside because you will be protected from the wind. There is lots to ses most of the time and your balcony should be fine.I sail to Alaska for a B2B in May, these will be #'2 10 and 11 to Alaska, mostly inside cabins. Have never had a balcony as I'd rather do a B2B than one cruise witha a balcony.Doug
