I have a few questions for you seasoned Alaska cruisers. I want a really special cruisetour for my 20th anniversary in August of 2006. I would like to start with the tour and finish with the cruise. And I am hoping for a stop in Denali (tour) and Sitka (cruise).
What I would like to know is: When would they start booking 8/06 cruises? Any recommendations for line (we are more of a Princess/RCL or even upgrading to Celebrity class of cruiser than Carnival)? What are the chances of a Sitka stop - which ships? Who would be a good agent / online cruise dealer to consider for this? What kind of prices are we looking at for a balcony cabin (basic not suite)? Any other recommendations are welcome.
I also welcome info from Alaska-knowledgeable travel agents (but I do not welcome pests, if you know what I mean).
