Can anyone tell me what it is like (weather wise, etc.) to cruise Alaska in September? Is it too cold? Any other tips for cruising Alaska in September would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure what to ask!
We Took The Star Princess on Sept 7th, 2003 From Seattle up to Skagway (inside Passage)
The weather was at the lowest was 41 after the sun went down and wind's picked up, durring the day 70's. and up.
It didn't stop us from the pool or any outdoor fun. Packing was not fun for this trip, there was several seasons to pack for. We are from Florida. Do you know how hard it is to buy winter gloves in Florida durring August?
We're going to to Alaska in September on the Ryndam, and the one thing I'm definitely not looking foreward to the packing! But, we'll have a great time, I'm sure.
