Leaving Seattle next Saturday the 14 on the Diamond, Booked two inside cabins for 5 people.Looks like rainy on weather off prefer sun but will take what we get.
From reading this forum, I have plans to ride the tram in Juneau if not too cloudy, will try to bring two great bottles of wine on board, who cares it they charge a corkage fee or not. Will buy a couple of coke stickers, Will bring some of my own bottles of water. Will catch the school buses to Mendenhall Glacier.
Will take the Wal Mart shuttle buy some beer and soft drinks to bring back on board.
Plan to make resevations at PC restaraunts the minute I get on board, Might rent a car in Skayway and not pay for the train, drive to Emerald lake. Will find Creek street in Ketchikan might fish of the bride for salmon, catch and release. Will buy salmon in Ketchikan to have shipped home. Plan to eat and drink and be merry. Not going to buy any excursions, will just walk and see the sights.
Can't wait, I see some people complain about everything on the Diamond, we will see what I have to say when I return on the 21st.
Did I miss anything.

I am looking forward to your report. Our family of eight is booked on the Diamond July 23-30. We have one suite, two balcony cabins and one inside cabin, all on the caribe deck. Have fun and enjoy. I have learned that some folks can have a bad time at Disney World even if it were free.

I cruised the Diamond in February and had no complaints at all (well, there was that one lousy waiter at afternoon tea :)). I am looking forward to my cruise to Alaska on the Diamond in June. Be sure to come back and let us know if your cruise met your expectations!
