My husband and I took our first cruise on the Mercury (she was new) to the Western Carribean in 1998, and then we went to Alaska in 2001 on her. She is a beautiful ship, and Alaska is our favorite destination. We haven't sailed from Seattle. We have always departed from Vancouver, Seward, and Whittier.
