Alaska Price Reduction

I noticed that Princess lowered their prices from what we paid a while back by $100 for our July cruise. Does anyone know if Princess has the same thing that Carnival had about price guarantees? Just checking, wanted to see if I'm just stuck with higher price.

If you have a T/A do what Suer says. No T/A and you booked directly with Princess call customer service. If you booked with an online web company call their customer service department. Now with that said, if you have NOT made final payment you should/will get the price reduction. If you have made final payment and are inside the penalty cancellation window you might have a hard time getting Princess to knuckle under. I always use the same T/A and knowing how relentless she can be she will usually be successful with these types of issues. One other thing you can try if unsuccessful with the price reduction is to try and have Princess upgrade you to a category where the price you paid matches the new category pricing. Good luck!!!!

Not sure if you were about to or if you have already sailed but will post anyway. We too found the price was lowered. We booked through Princess direct so we did as others have advised. The customer service rep was able to reduce our price at today’s price, a lot lower!!! We were supposed to cancel and then re-book but he was able to do it all at the same time. Sorry for late post but just joined tonight. Happy sailing or hope you had a great voyage, whichever applies.
