Alaska

So here's an interesting thing. I went into "My Cruises" on Royal Caribbean's site and my Alaska cruise in May wasn't there. Reservation number or anything. Then I went to search and Alaska isn't an option. Anyone have any idea what's up with that? I could just call but since I'm at work....

Well, since no one else can get into your My Cruise site, I can't say for sure. Perhaps Royal Caribbean is doing some updating and as a result access to the cruises is disabled.

I guess a more direct question is if anyone heard would there be any reason they were canceling their Alaskan cruises? Would have thought if that were the case they would have emailed us by now. Just weird that they are just all gone from searching and the destinations page. Celebrity still has theirs up which is weird since they are teh same company.

Hi. Glad to know it's not just me. I try to check the price daily (not that I really expect a price drop for Alaska) and there were NO sailings for Alaska options in May, nor any departures from Seattle. I'm hoping it's just a system update glitch, but I would love to know.

Thanx,
Erika

I do that every day too. My balcony room has, well had now since its not there, actually gone up $100 a person. Strange that all of them are gone. What are there like 3 ships that do cruises there? Radiance, Rhapsody and Serenade?
Its not even listed under the destinations anymore:shrug:

Yeah that's the really weird part.

It's back up everyone. Just as I hit that and went back to the page and clicked refresh alaska showed up in the desinations page and is back in my reservations.

Us too. Makes me wonder what it would have cost if we booked way back whenever. LOL

We're cruising out of Seattle on May 28th. We've been wanting to do Alaska since forever. And all year, hubby has said we wont be cruising next year. Then he started reading about Oasis and thought, hmmmm. I suggested we consider Alaska while the airline lets you use your frequent flyer miles. And next thing I knew we agreed and booked. Then I had to get my last few miles and we booked our flights. Thankfully since I got an email this week that the airline is redoing their mile redemption process, to make it easier (no way!). SO..... yippeee, we're cruising next year!!!!!!!!!!
Which is your sailing?

My dad and I, and two of my friends are doing the same one on the 28th. My wife didn't want to go to Alaska, no idea why cause it looks beautiful. My dad and I have been talking about Alaska for like 5-6 years and finally were able to fit in this coming year.

I also want to do Oasis. The more info that comes out and the closer it gets, the more I want to go.
