MSC Cruises Has Just Posted the Following:

After the launching ceremony on 14 May 2007 in Civitavecchia, the new flagship MSC Orchestra - sister ship to MSC Musica - will sail to the most beautiful Mediterranean destinations.

MSC Orchestra's maiden voyage will start on 16 May from Genoa. She will then sail to Marseille, Valencia and Lisbon, where she will spend the night, sailing the next day for Casablanca to let you visit the splendid Hassan II Mosque or Marrakech, the ‘pearl of the south'. She will then sail towards the Pillars of Hercules and Malaga to visit Granada and Alicante, Barcelona and back to Genoa on 26 May.

The MSC Orchestra will then go for a mini-cruise to Venice where she will be stationed all summer. She will leave from Venice for a seven-night cruise every Saturday and on Sundays from Bari from 2 June until 27 October. Leaving from Venice, MSC Orchestra will call into Katakolon where passengers can visit the archaeological site of Olympia or relax on the beautiful beaches, then Izmir, Istanbul, Dubrovnik in Croatia for a nice walk on the famous ‘stradun' and back to Venice and Bari again.

For next winter, MSC Orchestra will be stationed in the Mediterranean together with MSC Musica, calling into the most beautiful locations of the Mediterranean. The new flagship will leave for 11- and 12-day cruises to fascinating Mediterranean destinations. The first cruise will leave on 3 November from Venice to sail to Dubrovnik, Athens, Rhodes, Iraklion, Tunis, Palma de Majorca, Barcelona and Marseille to arrive in Genoa on 14 November.
