Anyone been in this cabin. Will the balcony be large enough for us to have lounge beds. We do like our privacy occasionally and were hoping to sunbathe there sometimes when pools are busy busy busy. If there aren't any loungers is it worth stamping my feet to the right person so it can be arranged. How easy is it to find a deserted spot to sunbathe. Any info would be greatly appreciated. This site is Fab Fab Fab.

I have cabin A705 and from what I have learned from this board it is a covered balcony and 1/2 the size of the Caribe balconies. From the pics I have seen it does not look big enough for loungers but after you see it you can decide and a well-placed tip to the steward might get you a lounger!

The balconies on the Aloha Deck are some of the smallest ones and there WILLNOT be room for lounge chairs. The privacy on ANY of the balconies will be limited due to the layout of the Grand Class ships. U will have minimal loking in on U from above since U are directly below the pool deck walk area. However from below ANYONE can turn around and look up at U so your privacy will be VERY limited. As for the sunning on the balcony that will also be a problem due to the pool deck walkway being directly above U which will acts as a canopy over your balcony. Its Gr8 for protection from the rain but obviously severely limits your exposure to the sun except for early morning or late afternoon sun depending on which way the ship is sailing. Hope this helps give U some insight into the Aloha Deck Balcony Cabins. :thumb

In my opinion the Aloha deck is the best deck on the Grand class ship. You have all the privacy you want and you have no one staring down or dropping cigarettes on you!!
It is very comfortable for 3 people to just watch the ocean go by.
