Hi Karen,


A repositioning cruise will generally depart from one port and will terminate at a different port.  This assumes that most cruises depart from and return to the same port.  Some cruises, such as in the Mediteranean, will sail from one port to another, such as from Barcelona to Venice, and then take a new group of passengers on the return sequence of the same ports.  Most repositioning cruises are from the Caribbean to Europe in the spring ( or to Alaska) and return to the Caribbean in the fall.  Hope this helps.
