that place has just gotten absurd.

It is truly impossible to find anything because a VERY large percentage of the time the boards don't work. Looks to me like they have outgrown themselves.

Course Laura's attitude doesn't help much either.

jdeatsch, as iluvcruizen pointed out don't worry about bummin' CC, we have kind of a live and let live attitude for the most part, you want to contribute here your welcome, you want to contribute there, go for it. Don't waste your time knocking them or anyone, spend it constructively contributing and enjoying your time spent here. Of course other than your friendly mod, Suer, you have to keep His Lordship happy. But that's easy he melts at the drop of a hat.

I think they want us to leave. That is how they intend to solve their site overuse issues. I have to say this.

It has gotten so bizarre over there with all the censorship. I was just zapped for asking where the quest thread went. I then proceeded to tell about how much fun it was while I was looking back at my cruise video. I didn't realize how much fun I was having - not only at quest, but in the Schooner at the piano bar.

I said nothing insulting, nothing inappropriate, I just asked the wrong question - Where'd the quest thread go? - and zap, my entire hard written post was gone.

I can say that once before I came here, posted for a few days, and then the entire site crashed losing all my posts. It took days to get this site up again and then it was like starting over. Not to mention there wasn't much activity but I felt insulted to lose all my posts and I went back over there.

The only thing we really need the other site for is to plan our cruise ship sponsored meet and mingles. That is the only site that is officially recognized by RCI for the on board parties.

Don´t ask the wrong questions; don´t tell the truth if it does not suite Lady Sterling!

It´s not "officially recognized by RCI", but again Lady Sterling has a hook on someone in MIA.

I'm sorry there are some frustrations here. But, does this really have anything to do with the Royal Carribean topic? Venting about the politics of another board isn't helpful or interesting.

My post above mentions this is something that is discouraged. How about we close this topic or remove it?

Well, you know what I mean. Don't you.

RCI gives us a free party for being CC members and signing up for the M&M. Of course we can sign up right through the RCI site and we don't get much that we wouldn't get anyway - except a specified meeting time and room. And only on a 7 night cruise or longer. But the other site is where everyone goes to get together and talk and get to "know" each other before the official M&M. That's what I mean by official.

What did you get kicked out for? Are you allowed to say?

What I like about that site is that there is a lot more conversation going on than at any other site.

If we all came here and started posting regularly, we'd probably crash this site, too. But they've known about the problems over there for a long time. And it's only gotten much worse - downright severe.
