My family will be cruising to Western Carribbean on the Grand leaving April 4th. Is American Money (cash) accepted in the mexican ports?

We exchanged a little bit of money on our first cruise, because we didnt know any better. It was completely unncessary, and we went home with some of it because the ship wouldnt change it back to American funds. So dont bother unless you just want some for personal reasons. All those ports take USD's.

They accept US money everywhere in Mexico. If you purchase something make sure to ask for change in American money.
