The Anchorage Zoo is located at 4731 O'Malley Rd, which is on the out skirts town, admission is $12.00, and their web site is home | The Alaska Zoo. I have been told that the trip to the zoo is well worth the effort, additionally there is bus that runs from down town out to the zoo.
