Surprise, surprise ,surprise..NOT.. as the wife of a Marine who had 2 -"96's " ( a military term of 96 hours off duty).. at the Christmas ,New Year's holidays each; and every year.. ....you can bet your Bippy EVERY single year there was a HUGE spike of babies nine months later.. :grin.. and since my DD Cynthia was born on September 20th.. yuppers.. it's what it is.
.glad the Civilian Hospital offered overflow.. it was one of the reasons I was crazy busy at Onslow Memorial Hospital in NC when I lived there for a couple years.. we simply had to take them.. Camp Lejeune had HUGE spikes of overflow..there were 80,000 Marines based there year round.. September - October births were NUTS!! Thanks for the share Tobyn!!..
