If you owned a boat big enough,,,,,, I hesitate to say ship because none of us are that wealthy. Well almost anyway. But anywho If you had this let's just call it a boat or a dinghy and animals were allowed kinda like at LaQuinta Inn,,,,,,, :grin is there any animal, reptile or bug you wouldn't want to be onboard?

I vote no snakes!

Mice too. I remember after I came to CO for a visit once my house sitter left food out. Well I came home to a family of mice. Oh my poor Pheobe and Woobie were so spooked by them. They would run to me and jump in my lap. They only came out at night.

So I had to set traps and OMG when those things went off I was screaming. Because setting traps is one thing but having to get rid of them is another. I think mice have mini-billboards somewhere. They say hey I just knawed a hole in the house over here come on let's all drive that lady crazy and get into all her cabinets. :lol

Bats scare me a little Dusk. I remember as a kid throwing tin foil in the air. Well my sister got a bat in her hair. OMG I'll never forget her screaming it didn't hurt her just spooked us. So we didn't throw the foil anymore after that. Silly kids.

But I grew up in this really big old house with about 15 rooms. The house was over 100 years old and had lots of nooks and crannies outside. The bats would get into the attic and sometimes get downstairs. Yikes my father would open the windows and doors and chase them out with a broom. He never hurt them just kinda swooshed them out as we screamed.

I could do without mice and snakes. We get a mouse in the house once in a while, Max is pretty good about catching them, and i take them away and take them outside. Missed one the other night tho, and big brave mouse hunter ate it before I could get it away. YUCKKKK.

Jusst think of it as 5 fewer mice in the world. That is the problem with traps, tho, I would have to hire someone to come in and empty it!

We had the sticky traps at work, and caught a mouse in one one day. It was hysterical, trying to find someone who would actually go and get that thing out of the trap.

We had a mouse and someone I worked with said to use a sticky trap. We caught it, and then didn't know what to do with it. She said to drown it. Nah, couldn't do that. I cut it away from the sticky paper, washed its little feet to get the glue off, and released it across the street in the field. True story, I'm just a big old softy.

Hmmm, what kind of animal would I not want on the boat... probably cockaroaches....

.

I had to open this thread =sick

NO snakes, NO spiders, NO scorpions, NO cockroaches.............
Nothing that crawls.

We were at son's house on Sunday, and his stepson has, in a frame, the biggest, hairiest, ugliest, creepiest looking bird eating spider I ever saw! YUK, YUK, YUK!!!

Apparently these creatures are quite common in Far North Queensland where Rick's mum and sister live, and we have stayed there. These things are so big they eat birds! aaarrrggghhh!!!! Major YUK!

TAME kitties and puppies will suffice, thankyou.

Wow, some scary stuff in here!

Jill, I can't even imagine spiders like that! But I've seen some of the TV shows showing your country's animals and critters, and you have some unsual ones that's for sure. But very interesting, especially the way they show how the creatures live, etc.

....and we all love the kangaroos, of course.
