Anniversary Cruise Question

Hi all! My wife and I are celebrating our 10th Anniversary next year and we were considering a cruise to celebrate. She has sailed on the Elation, and we just returned from a Conquest trip. I would like to know what suggestions you guys may have as far as ship, destinations, etc. that would be appropriate for this occasion. I don't want to be on a ship with a ton of kids running around, but I know that I can't control that. Any input is greatly appreciated.

You can control the number of kids on the cruise. If you book Disney, Royal Caribbean or Carnival during a school break, you will find lots of kids on the ship with you. If you book HAL or Celebrity during school time, you might find only a dozen or so kids. Move up to Seabourn or Radison and you might find even less.

Do not book your cruise during peak family cruising time. We cruise in February-before Presidents week to escape the kids, and get a good rate.
Last year there were less then 35 kids onboard.

Yes, to avoid kids, avoid every holiday time of year... And be careful for what we don't always think of as holiday weeks, like spring and fall breaks from college.

Looking at the fares posted online, It seems like the best rates roughly equal the times when there would be fewest kids on board-- early November, early December.
