Where was the Rotterdam ? and what kind of ship was it .. ?
I only knew about cruising because we got lucky and my husbands boss took us all on the Princess Star as they take the employees on a vacation each year .. Usually my husband does not get to go on the trips because he does the payroll and is like stuck doing payrolls but for the past two years we have been lucky and got to go due to the great abiltiys of computers now days ...
First we went to maui in Hawaii and had to fly and stayed 7 days in a hotel there ,
but then in Jan they took us on the Star Princess and I loved crusing so did my husband
.. we then wanted to take a quick cruise to nassau on carnival ,as we are close to Florida that did not turn out quite as well but we still want to go cruising again and we have heard rumors that the boss is thinking of a cruise again only we dont know when , where and what ship they will take us on ..
hopefully it will be a cruise ...
One can always hope .. IN the meantime , im looking into another 3 day cruise to somewhere .. and looking here to see what ships carnival has that people really really like and where it is not too overcrowed with drunk teenagers and young people .. yes they have a right to get drunk and have fun but its hard when people are confined to an area ..
but am curious as what it was like to cruise as a kid ..
